Stomach Ulcers

Stomach ulcer

Self-loathing due to feelings of guilt and/or shame.

A stomach ulcer is an unhealing, burning sore, and the pattern is being eaten from the inside by fear and revolt. Intense stress and insecurity leave one feeling gnawed and devoured, while the fire of rancour and violent, repressed resentment burns within - as if chained to a weight, unable to move freely, pushing oneself to the limit and knowing a major change is needed but not how to make it. The short explanation's "self-loathing due to feelings of guilt and/or shame" sits in that self-consuming heat. Relief is described as cooling the inner revolt, easing the fear, and making the change one keeps postponing so the burning has nothing left to feed on.

Example from the findings: the ulcer is read as the fire of repressed resentment eating one from within, an unhealing sore of stress and revolt.
