Tuberculosis

Tuberculosis settles in the lungs - our organ for taking life in - and is read as a life gone joyless and held too tightly. The pattern is anger and a sense of being forsaken or abandoned, often within the family, with "no longer enough space to breathe," and a possessive jealousy that wants to keep loved ones and what others have for oneself alone. The short explanation's "too much rationality" reads here as that joyless, over-controlled, possessive holding-on at the expense of freely living and breathing. Relief is described as letting joy and air back into one's life, loosening the possessive grip, and giving oneself and others room to breathe.
