Nervous complaints

Nerves / nervous problems

Emotional stress.

The nerves are read as the body's electrical system, carrying information from one's feelings, thoughts and senses. Nervous complaints are read as that system overloaded by too much "tension" - worry and strain overcharging the circuits until the body's functioning is affected. The short explanation's "emotional stress" is exactly that overload. Relief is described as discharging the tension - through rest, relaxation or calm - so the circuits are no longer overcharged, and easing the worries feeding them.

Example from the findings: nervous complaints are read as the body's wiring overcharged by worry and tension.
