Muscular Atrophy
Muscle wasting
Severe resistance to taking the required actions within life.
Atrophy - the wasting of a muscle - is read as holding oneself back from doing, expressing and accomplishing what one does not dare to. The pattern is a felt loss or diminishment somewhere in life that leaves one vulnerable, a fading reason to live, and a letting-oneself-waste: sacrificing one's own dreams for others, and sometimes punishing oneself for not reaching goals that were unrealistic to begin with. As the will to act withers, so, in this reading, does the muscle. The short explanation's "severe resistance to taking the required actions within life" is exactly that. Relief is described as daring to act and express again, reclaiming one's reason to live, and releasing the self-punishment.
Example from the findings: the wasting muscle is read as action and expression held back - a will to act let to waste.
