Multiple Sclerosis

Multiple sclerosis is read as the body increasingly caged and limited in its movement, mirroring an inner sense of being trapped. The pattern is great suffering and discouragement - something or someone is felt to paralyse one - alongside a deep revolt, a feeling of having to do everything oneself, and a perfectionist, intransigent stance that refuses to soften, while life loses its "sweetness." The short explanation's "lacking intelligent co-operation with life" sits in that hardened, revolted rigidity. Relief is described as softening the revolt and the perfectionism, letting life be sweet and supported again, and co-operating with it rather than fighting alone.
