Hernia

Severe frustration.

A hernia is read as something pushing through where one has become weak, and the place gives the message. The common pattern is a build-up of frustration or anger felt with helplessness - coming out of one's hinges - that finally breaks through a soft point. In the groin it is read as a secret one carries unspoken and a blocked creativity or sexual self that goes unmet; at the diaphragm, as rage one feels powerless over; at the navel, as a reluctance to leave a safe nest or a fear of being controlled by a new environment. The short explanation's "severe frustration" is that pent-up pressure forcing its way out. Relief is described as giving the frustration and the unspoken material an honest outlet before it has to push through.

Example from the findings: the hernia is read as frustration or rage breaking through a weak point, its location naming the specific conflict.
