Goitre
Goitre (swollen thyroid)
Too much rationality.
A goitre swells the thyroid at the throat - the body's centre of expression and, in one tradition, the organ of the will - and the pattern is a blocked, over-managed self-expression. That framework reads the swelling as the work of a "double fear" closing the throat: the fear that drew a bad situation near, and the fear that will not let it go - so the words and wants one dares not voice, and the choices one dares not make, dam up and the throat swells. Living too much in the head and over-rationalising, rather than feeling and speaking, keeps that expression blocked. The short explanation's "too much rationality" names that over-managed, unspoken inner life. Relief is described as releasing both fears, freely expressing oneself, and letting one's true voice and will through.
Example from the findings: the swollen thyroid is read as a double fear - drawing the bad near and refusing to release it - damming the voice and the will.
