Gingivitis (Inflammation of the Gums)

Gum disease (gingivitis)

Lack of inner strength and conviction, or failing to act upon one’s own knowledge.

Inflamed gums are read through their job of supporting the teeth - and the support reads as one's footing for decisions. The pattern is feeling stuck because one stubbornly stays in the past, wanting to step back instead of forward, mired in indecision and doubting whether one can stand behind one's own choices and their consequences. Often there is a decision long overdue and postponed for fear, or one made but never carried out, leaving a passive state of insecurity in which one's own words seem to carry no weight. The short explanation's "lack of inner strength and conviction, or failing to act upon one's own knowledge" is exactly that. Relief is described as finding the footing to decide and to act on what one already knows, giving one's own word weight.

Example from the findings: sore gums are read as decisions postponed or unexecuted, the support failing where one will not stand behind one's own choices.
