Furuncles (Boils)

Boils

Severe suppressed anger and thoughts of revenge.

A boil erupts where repressed anger overflows. The pattern is feeling that someone or something is "poisoning" one's existence while bottling up all one's anger and anguish until one has had it up to here, and it bursts through the skin. Because the skin is our contact, the anger is often read as following a separation from someone or something dear one can no longer touch, or a recognition that slipped away - left in the shadow rather than being the highlight. The short explanation's "severe suppressed anger and thoughts of revenge" is exactly that bottled overflow. Relief is described as voicing the anger and grieving the loss rather than letting it gather and burst.

Example from the findings: the boil is read as bottled-up anger overflowing the skin, often after a cherished contact was lost.
