Frostbite

Anger at the self, or feelings of guilt or shame.

Frostbite is read as the body freezing where one has "frozen" one's own reactions - life burns, so one numbs feeling and slows down. The pattern is an inner coldness: outwardly a go-getter, inwardly emptied and exhausted, the taste for moving forward stalled, even wondering why one lives. The cold is read as coming from a coldness with a person, often in the family - a felt lack of love whose icy character freezes one's soul, lived in fear. The short explanation's "anger at the self, or feelings of guilt or shame" sits in that frozen, self-arrested feeling. Relief is described as thawing one's own feeling, finding warmth and love again, and letting oneself move forward.

Example from the findings: frostbite is read as frozen reactions to a coldness lived with someone, the warmth of life stalled.
