Fibromyalgia
Fibromyalgia syndrome / Chronic widespread pain
A nervous system thrown into lasting imbalance after an emotional shock - pain and exhaustion from carrying too much, too long.
Fibromyalgia spreads constant pain and exhaustion through the muscles and tendons, and is read as a nervous system thrown into lasting imbalance - often dated to an emotional shock or accident after which the system never reset. Tied closely to chronic exhaustion, the pattern is of one who has carried too much for too long, the body's wiring left raw and depleted, pain and fatigue standing in for a strain that was never released. The short explanation's overload-turned-to-depletion sits here. Relief is described as easing the chronic strain, letting the nervous system settle and rest, and releasing the shock the body is still holding.
(Note: this is a metaphysical interpretation; fibromyalgia is a real, painful condition that warrants medical care.)
Example from the findings: fibromyalgia is read as a nervous system left in lasting imbalance after a shock, carrying pain and exhaustion it cannot discharge.
