Endometriosis (Cysts and Adhesions)

Endometriosis - womb-tissue growing where it should not - is read as an unconscious holding-back from motherhood and from one's own creative ground. The pattern is a conflict with the mother or her legacy and one's own place in the world, and a deep doubt about welcoming a child: a fear that what one could offer would not be good enough, or that a child would change everything. One tradition reads the womb as the "mother organ," gathering the worries a daughter has absorbed from her mother alongside her own, until they settle into the tissue - so a difficult mother-daughter bond is read as feeding the condition. The short explanation's "feeling very insecure about letting go of the old in favour of the new" is exactly that. Relief is described as making peace with one's mother and one's own womanhood, releasing the inherited load, and trusting oneself enough to make room for the new.
