Diarrhoea

Fear.

Diarrhoea rushes things through before they can be absorbed, and the emotional pattern is the same: a wish to flee or be instantly rid of something new or unpleasant that one cannot take the time to digest. The driver is fear - feeling trapped or gripped in the gut by a situation, flooded with more than one can integrate, impatient for it to pass. One has, in effect, swallowed something experienced as foul and would rather flush it out at speed than sit with it, often alongside guilt and a poor self-image in the moment. The short explanation's single word, "fear," is exactly this; the issue is read as one of thoughts that no longer suit, not of food. Relief is described as feeling safe enough to take things in and process them rather than expelling them in alarm.

Example from the findings: the body voids at speed what fear will not let one pause to digest.
