Colitis (Inflammation of the Colon)
Colon inflammation
Not wanting to accept the process of life.
Colitis inflames the colon - where the body decides what to absorb and what to expel - so it is read as something one cannot digest and will not accept. The pattern follows feeling wronged: a low blow or betrayal, often from someone in the family, that one refuses to process; sadness, fear, confusion or shame settle in the gut because the situation simply will not go down. Frequently it surfaces after a separation one stubbornly will not accept, holding out rather than letting the experience pass through. The short explanation's "not wanting to accept the process of life" is that withheld digestion. Relief is described as allowing what happened to be processed and released - keeping what nourishes and letting the rest go.
Example from the findings: the colon is read as refusing to digest a betrayal or loss one will not accept, often within the family.
