Iron-Deficiency Anaemia

Chlorosis, a form of anaemia, is read through blood as the carrier of joy and love - here grown thin and pale. The pattern is a deep want of joy and a sense of not being worthy of life itself: a low, bloodless vitality mirroring a belief that one does not deserve to fully live and receive love, the life-force read as running low. One tradition adds that such weak blood, especially in the young, can come of absorbing a sense that life itself is "poor" - taking on the discouragement of those around one until one's own vitality thins. The short explanation's "feelings of not deserving life" is exactly that.
