Blood Boils

A boil is read as anger that has gathered under the skin and finally erupts. Like the pus it forms (pus being read as one's held emotions), it is read as a response to an affront or irritation one could not express in the moment - hostility collecting in one spot until it bursts to the surface. The short explanation's "suppressed anger" is exactly that buried, fermenting charge. Relief is described as expressing the anger and the hurt as they arise, rather than letting them gather and erupt through the skin.
