Atherosclerosis (Clogged Arteries)

Clogged / hardened arteries

Feeling bad about oneself, often because of a sense of guilt or a feeling of being inadequate and therefore useless.

Hardened, clogged arteries are read as blocked joy and a hardened stance toward life - the arteries carry the joy of life, so guilt, a sense of being inadequate and useless, and a fear of accepting joy narrow the channels meant to carry it. One systematic tradition reads the deposits as what gathers when the body's energy no longer flows freely: when one's inner "uprightness" collapses, energy and blood slow, and the bad cholesterol settles like sandpaper on the vessel walls. It holds the deposits can ease as that rigid, unforgiving posture softens, since it all begins with thought. The short explanation's feeling bad about oneself through guilt and inadequacy is the core. Relief is described as choosing to love life, letting joy and energy flow freely again, and releasing the hard, self-condemning thoughts.

Example from the findings: the clogging is read as joy and energy no longer flowing freely, the residue settling where a rigid inner stance has slowed the flow.
